The Day the Enemy Came

It started out just like any other day
people were going about their way
little did they know that before noon
many of their lives would end so soon
the deadly blow came from the sky
and left people asking why
people came from all around to lend a helping hand
everywhere, people were trying to understand
but how could they understand something so bad
that would make people around the world so sad
how could anyone have so much hate
to seal so many people's fate
who can take away the pain
and stop the tears that fall like rain
the loved ones we will all miss
and only God can help us with this
it will take God and time for this to heal
but pain and death, we will always feel
the enemy left thier mark on our nation's heart
the day they blew our country apart
our country will never be the same
and we will always remember the day the enemy came
everywhere, these words, the people say,
"God Bless the USA"
