I watch in horror on my TV screen
of a force so devastating it seems hard to believe
An orange glaze from the hills to the canyons below
erasing the memory of a life once known
Left are the tears of ashes
the homes now of days passed
An eerie desert where brush once lay
lives left in disarray
But tomorrow will bring new hope at hand
from these flames that have brought their reign to this land
In dedication to those in California that last so much to the wild fires
