Christmas without you, will never be the same
for there are no presents, on which to put your name.
My son, I still love you and miss you so
but you are much better off now, I know.
Christmas without you, fills me with pain
and makes my tears fall like rain.
The sound of your laughter, I long to hear
as my arms ache to hold you near.
Christmas without you, for me, holds no joy
when all I want is my blond, hazel-eyed, boy.
Your death has torn many lives apart
and I'll never again, feel joy in my heart.
Christmas without you, just isn't the same
and many hearts are filled with shame.
You were a gift to me from God above
now all I have left are memories of your love.
Christmas without you, my beautiful little son
fills me with agony for all I have done.
Because God has forgiven me of my every sin
I know, in Heaven, I will see you again.
