A Dragon's New Years Eve

Ikado flies across the great ocean

to the new world to celebrate the new year to come

The great dragon that lives with no care

will look down at the party in Time Square

He pops the cork and pours a glass of champagne

cracks a smile as dreams for this new year, spin in his brain

He sees a beautiful girl looking up at the sky

could she be looking at me, through all the confetti that flies?

His heart begins to pound as he stares down at her face

he dreams of how wonderful it would be to spend this moment, locked in her embrace

He thinks of his world as he watches on

what will be in the year to come, and what has passed in the one that is now gone

Ikado now realizes that he is just like everyone else at this very moment

he feels that his life is happy and content

He gives a wink and blows a kiss to the pretty girl below

spreads his wings to be carried away as the north winds blow

...and the story of the great dragon Ikado continues.
